CLAY SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS

Best for: Shooters who already have some experience but want better consistency

Strengthen your fundamentals and identify the habits that may be costing you targets. This lesson is tailored to your current shooting ability and focuses on improving technique across different target presentations.

What You'll Work On

• Review of mount visual focus, stance and gun movement

• Hold point, visual pickup point and break point

• Crossing, quartering, incoming and outgoing target presentations

• Reading target speed, angle and distance

• Lead and timing

• Basic shooting methods and maintaining smooth gun movement and follow through

• Diagnosing common misses and developing a repeatable shot routine
